Schizophrenia is not a disorder that is similar to other disorders. Schizophrenia causes you to develope an alternate view of reality. Perception of the "real world" is only a series of electric pulses in your brain and everyone is wired differently. How we view the world and interpret events depend on what series of nerve endings fire in a certian order. Scizophrenia is a dramatically different series of nerve endings going off. Schizophrenics just percieve the world differently from what society views as "normal". A Schizophrenics world is the real world to that particular person. Treatment as you can probably tell would be very difficult when it involves changeing an entire perception of reality.
