
It is interesting to think how music motivates us, captivates us and effects our brains. Whether you hear a song on the radio or think of times gone by you can't help but acknowledge that this pleasing art form of the ear shapes us in all sorts of ways. The mood of a melody can set the tone for the rest of the day. I know when I need to plow through a project I put of some Verdi and in a short time it is done. Or when I am having a depressed day I put on something dark to go along with my mood. Paring music with your mood is like paring wine with dinner. Listening to a song can bring back memories from days gone by some happy and some sad. Music helps us navigate this difficult maze called life and makes it all a bit more meaningful.
